We are so beyond happy with our Beau that we found at The Golden Puppy. We had been waiting 2 years to find the right pup and breeder. We think all the puppies from Shannon’s tribe have been so beautiful and have an equally beautiful demeanor. They’re focused on providing true family companions and we have found the very best in our Beau. He is so big and handsome and loving his life in Sunny San Diego with his four human sisters and brother.

 

We adopted Piper in December 2020 from Shannon.  Shannon was such a pleasure to work with and she sent me loads of pictures before we could collect Piper.
From day 1 Piper was potty trained - I think she maybe had two accidents in the house - thanks to Shannon working with the litter prior to us adopting Piper.  She was also easy to train with a bell to go out and her basic training. She loves people and is very gentle with kids.  She’s also been excellent with cats and kittens when we were fostering.
If we still lived in Colorado I would’ve adopted a friend for Piper from Shannon!

 

We are so happy we contacted Shannon for our dream pup :) Shannon was quick to respond with answers to all our questions and made us feel comfortable. We are first time dog parents and she helped us feel prepared to bring home the new addition to our family!

I had a Golden Retriever growing up and knew I wanted another one someday, but my husband didn’t grow up with pets so he wasn’t convinced. At the height of our discussions about whether or not to get a dog, we were at one of our favorite breweries in Denver and saw the cutest, most well-behaved, Golden Retriever puppy. My husband conceded that we could get a dog, if we got it from the same breeder as that puppy. We learned that the puppy was from Shannon! Shannon was communicative and did a screening call to make sure we were ready for a dog (which made me feel so comfortable getting a dog from her because it was clear how much she cares). A few months later, we brought our Golden puppy, Basil, home with us. She has the sweetest temperament, loves to snuggle, is always down for fun, and has been a joy since day one. It’s clear that Shannon does a great job socializing the puppies before they come home. Basil is wonderful with people of all ages, especially little kids. We’re biased, but she’s the best. We can’t imagine our life without our sweet Golden Girl.

 

Shannon and “The Golden Puppy” were great to work with! She answered all of my questions along the way and the dog parents are beautiful. She provided us AKC family trees and the registration paperwork for our puppy. Tucker has been an amazing dog! He is beautiful and healthy…and somehow Shannon had him almost potty trained by the time we got him at 8 weeks, which I didn’t even know was possible :)

 

Our family is overjoyed with our new puppy! A little golden sweetheart settled in to our family quickly and wins the hearts of everyone he meets. ‘Gus’ is such a clever, confident and beautiful boy.  Every day is a new adventure for him and our son has a new best buddy.  Thank you, Shannon for making the adoption process so smooth and helping us find our perfect puppy match.
